Session
Highlights for the June 25th Meeting:
The session by action of unanimous vote upheld the direction, vision,
and core beliefs of New Covenant by keeping the existing Purpose Statement,
Core Beliefs, Guiding Principles, Confessing Church Statement and to retain
the Purpose Driven church model as our organizational structure.
The session worked on direction to give the newly elected Pastor Nominating
Committee (PNC). One item of importance decided upon was that the PNC should
look for a Solo Pastor to serve New Covenant next.
Also the report of the Transitional Planning Team was reviewed and accepted
as is.
Lastly, it was decided to move forward with repaving of portions of the church’s
parking lot. The church still needs to raise an additional $20,000 for the
project. Any additional contributions will be greatly appreciated.
In Christ,
The Session
