Then the King will say, "I'm
telling the solemn truth: Whenever you did one of these things
to someone
overlooked or ignored, that was me--you did it to me.'
Matthew 25:40

Beginning in July 2004, when our Student Adventures Ministry took
a mission trip to Miguel Aleman to help build houses, a partnership
was formed with Faith Ministries and New Covenant Presbyterian
Church.
Since this partnership began in the Summer of 2004, NCPC has taken
13 trips to Mexico including:
- A delivery of dental chairs and medical equipment for use in
the local clinic
- A Christmas gift distribution trip that gave
toys like dolls and
soccer balls to more than 2,000 local children
- A family mission
trip of 24 people representing 7 families during the week after
Christmas 2004 to build a bathroom for one
family and
a house for a retiring minister's family with no where else
to go.
- The High School trip over Spring Break built 2 houses
and a bathroom.
- The College Trip in May accomplished working
on two houses and a roof for a third house.
- Since December
of 2004, we have built a total of five houses.
- This summer, we will open the first permanent
dental clinic in Miguel Alemon at the Faith Ministries
Presbyterian
Church.
- Our congregation and community have adopted
21 children, providing their families with help and support
for school tuition, uniforms
and supplies.
- Since December 2004, we have built six houses and added bathrooms
to three homes.
Other trips will be planned soon, so watch for more details
about future trips and several Medical Mission Trips for
doctors, nurses
and dentists. Join us as we make a difference in our community
and in our world. |
