"But Jesus called the children to him and said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these."

Luke 18:16

New Covenant provides opportunities for children to be a part of the life of the church through lesson and activities that support the purpose of New Covenant Presbyterian Church.

The mission of the Children's Ministry of New Covenant is:

"to share the Gospel with an ever increasing number of children, to support all children and their parents through Christian nuture (as vowed by the congreation in the baptism of children) to teach children the faith and foster Biblical literacy, to guide children to a personal faith in God through Jesus Christ, and to support them through word and deed as they grow to become mature followers of Christ."

Sunday Morning

New Covenant offers several learning opportunities for children.

During the 8:30 am Worship Service a nursery is available for infants and children to age three.

The 9:45 am Hour offers:

  • Nursery for infants
  • Ages 3, 4, and 5 meet in room 107 of the Stalter Center
  • Grades 1-3 meet in room 105 of the Stalter Center
  • 4th-6th Grade meet in the Fellowship Hall, Area 456

During the 11:00 Harbor Worship, children ages 3 and up are to come to the Sanctuary where they will be dismissed to the children's programming during the Greeting Time with the Children's Ministry Team. The 11:00 am Hour offers:

  • Nursery to Age Three
  • Preschool to Third Grade goes to room 104 of the Stalter Center to watch a Bible-based movie.

Older children are encouraged to worship with their parents. When there is a fifth Sunday in a month, all children ages 3 and up will remain in that worship service with their parents. This gives them the opportunity to learn by example what worship is all about.
